The Air Venturi Long Shotshells are 12.7mm/.50 calibre shotgun shells designed for high-powered PCP air rifles. Each shell contains 167 grain of #8 shot made from lead, creating a spread pattern of approximately 30cm at 18 metres. These shells require air rifles with minimum 300 joule muzzle energy.

Construction and materials

Each shotshell measures 12.7mm in diameter and 26mm in length. The 167 grain payload consists of multiple small lead pellets (#8 shot) housed in a silver casing. The lead construction ensures adequate mass per pellet for effective energy transfer. Package weight is 0.218kg for 50 shells.

Application and use
