AirmaksArms 40S Suppressor – Air rifle sound moderator

The AirmaksArms 40S is a compact air rifle suppressor designed to reduce muzzle report during shooting. With a 1/2" UNF thread and 106mm length, this moderator maintains rifle balance whilst effectively dampening sound output.

Construction and materials

Built from anodised aluminium with a black finish, the suppressor measures 106mm in length. The unit features 1/2" UNF threading for secure barrel attachment. Compatible with .177 (4.5mm), .22 (5.5mm) and .25 (6.35mm) calibres, though selecting a suppressor rated for one calibre larger than your projectile prevents internal contact and potential accuracy issues.

Application and use

Suitable for range shooting and backyard plinking with air rifles. When using optical sights, re-zero after mounting the suppressor as point of impact typically shifts between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.

Integration and compatibility

The suppressor mounts via 1/2" UNF thread standard, compatible with most air rifles featuring this barrel termination. The engravable surface allows for customisation or identification marking if required.
