Noh Katana – Decorative handforged samurai sword with damascus pattern

The Noh Katana is a decorative sword featuring a handforged blade made from 1045 Carbon Steel. This katana displays a traditional damascus pattern achieved through 12-fold steel folding, with a total length of 100 cm and distinctive red colour accents throughout its construction.

Construction and materials

The blade measures 73 cm in length and weighs 1.1 kg. Forged from 1045 Carbon Steel, it features a tanto point profile and Bo-Hi fuller. The tsuba incorporates gold paint accents inspired by 18th-century designs, while the black wooden sheath provides contrast to the red elements. The 30 cm handle features genuine ray skin (same) with black cotton wrapping.

Application and use

This katana serves as a decorative display piece for collectors of Japanese swords and samurai culture enthusiasts. Suitable for mounting in display stands or wall mounts in study rooms, living spaces, or martial arts dojos. Not intended for practical cutting or training applications.
