Construction and materials
The blade is crafted from 1095 carbon steel with a plain edge and traditional Bo-Hi groove for weight reduction. The handle features authentic ray skin (same) wrap with dark green cotton cord binding. The tsuba guard displays silver and gold floral motifs, while the entire assembly maintains a black lacquered finish.
Application and use
This katana serves exclusively as a collector's piece and decorative display item. The included table stand allows for proper presentation in collections or display cases. Not intended for training, cutting practice, or martial arts use.
Integration and compatibility
The 29cm handle length accommodates standard grip positions. The traditional Tanto blade geometry and museum-quality fittings make this piece suitable for serious Japanese sword collections. All mounting hardware follows traditional katana specifications.
Maintenance and lifecycle
The carbon steel blade requires regular maintenance with the included cotton cloth. Store in dry conditions and apply a thin oil layer periodically to prevent oxidation. The lacquered surfaces and fittings maintain their appearance with proper care.
