Katran L HP – high-powered PCP air rifle for precision shooting

The Katran L HP is a PCP air rifle designed for slug shooting with a maximum output of 60 Joule. This 5.5mm caliber rifle features a 520mm barrel, metal frame with polymer accents, and weighs 2.82kg. Built on the Katran platform by AirMaks, it includes an internal regulator for consistent shot performance.

Construction and materials

The rifle combines a metal stock with polymer/metal construction throughout. When collapsed, it measures 80cm in length. The adjustable metal stock features height-adjustable cheek rest and length adjustment. A 22mm Weaver top rail and Key-Mod mounting rail provide accessory attachment points. The side lever cocking mechanism operates smoothly, while the integrated suppressor keeps noise levels manageable.

Application and use

This air rifle suits advanced shooters requiring precision at longer ranges. The multi-shot magazine holds 16 rounds, ideal for extended shooting sessions. With single action trigger system and adjustable trigger settings, shooters can customize the rifle to their preferences. The design accommodates both left and right-handed users with its ambidextrous features.

Integration and compatibility

The rifle operates on PCP (pre-charged pneumatic) system with 300 bar maximum fill pressure. Standard 22mm Weaver rail accepts most optics, while the Key-Mod system allows additional accessories.
