Katran SC PCP Air Rifle – Compact 5.5mm precision platform

The Katran SC is a sub-compact PCP air rifle designed for recreational precision shooting. Weighing only 1.6kg, this polymer/metal construction features an AR15-style grip, removable metal stock, and delivers 21 Joules of power in 5.5mm calibre.

Construction and materials

Built with an aluminium finish and metal stock, the rifle measures approximately 60cm in total length with a 230mm CZ barrel. When collapsed, it reduces to 45cm. The ambidextrous design incorporates an adjustable cheek rest, extendable stock, and ergonomically positioned safety lever.

Application and use

This multi-shot PCP rifle suits advanced shooters requiring a compact precision platform. The side-lever cocking system operates smoothly, while the single-action trigger system offers full adjustability. The 16-round magazine and anti-double feed system ensure consistent shot cycles during extended shooting sessions.

Integration and compatibility

The Katran SC operates on a 100cc air reservoir with 300 bar maximum fill pressure. An internal regulator maintains consistent velocities across the pressure range. The rifle comes with a 22mm Weaver rail for optics mounting, with an optional upgrade to 20 MOA Picatinny rail for longer distances.

Maintenance and lifecycle

Regular maintenance involves checking O-rings and keeping the adjustable side-lever mechanism clean. The adjustable trigger and adjustable cheek rest may require periodic calibration to maintain optimal performance.
