Katran SC – Compact PCP air rifle with 21 Joule power output

The Katran SC is a sub-compact PCP air rifle designed for precision shooting, featuring an aluminium and polymer construction with a total weight of 1.6 kg. This multi-shot platform delivers 21 Joule through a regulated system with 300 bar maximum fill pressure and includes a removable metal stock.

Construction and materials

Built with a combination of polymer and metal components, the rifle measures 45 cm when folded. The metal stock is fully removable, while the main body features durable aluminium finishing. The 230 mm CZ barrel with 1/17.7 twist rate accommodates 5.5 mm pellets, with a 16-round magazine capacity and anti-double feed system.

Application and use

This rifle suits recreational precision shooting at medium ranges. The ambidextrous design accommodates both left and right-handed shooters. It's intended for experienced shooters requiring a manoeuvrable yet powerful platform for target practice or field use.

Integration and compatibility

The Katran SC features a 22mm Weaver rail for optics mounting, with an optional 20 MOA Picatinny rail available. The internal regulator ensures consistent shot velocity across the pressure range. The rifle operates on PCP (pre-charged pneumatic) system with a 100 cc air reservoir.

Maintenance and lifecycle

Regular maintenance includes checking the 300 bar pressure system and cleaning the barrel. The single-action trigger mechanism and side lever cocking system require periodic inspection. All adjustable components including the adjustable cheek rest and extendable stock should be checked for secure mounting.
