AEA Megalodon 15" – High-power PCP air rifle with pump action
The AEA Megalodon 15" is a big bore PCP air rifle featuring an innovative pump-action system. This precision shooting platform combines a robust aluminium alloy frame with dual cylinders and delivers power outputs ranging from 214 joules to 515 joules depending on calibre selection.
Construction and materials
Built with an aluminium matte finish, the rifle weighs 3.585 kilograms and measures between 78.7cm and 80cm in length. The frame incorporates dual air cylinders with a maximum fill pressure of 310 bar. Diagonal grooves on the pump handle provide enhanced grip during operation, while the ergonomic pistol grip maintains handling balance despite the substantial weight.
Application and use
Designed for experienced recreational precision shooters, this PCP platform operates with a single-action trigger system and single-shot firing mode. The rifle is available in multiple calibres: 9mm/.35, 11.6mm/.457, 12.6mm/.50, 12.95mm/.51, and 14.73mm/.58, with barrel lengths varying from 381mm to 558mm respectively.
Integration and compatibility
The rifle features a 22mm Picatinny top rail for optics mounting, supplied with mounting rings. A short accessory rail underneath accommodates bipods or foregrips. The integrated pressure gauge on the left side displays remaining cylinder pressure. Magazine capacity is 8 rounds across all calibre variants.
