The Monsoon Classic is a half-length outdoor smock designed for bushcraft and hiking activities. Constructed from three-layer laminated hidrostretch material, it provides 10,000mm H2O waterproofing in a teak colourway that blends with natural environments.

Construction and materials

The smock features three-layer laminated hidrostretch fabric that combines waterproofing with breathability. The 10,000mm H2O rating handles sustained rain exposure. Key design elements include hook-and-loop cuff closures, adjustable hip drawcords, and a chin guard for hood comfort. Multiple pockets provide storage for navigation tools and small gear.

Application and use

The half-length design allows overhead donning without full zip opening – useful for quick weather protection. Suitable for bushcraft, hiking, and extended outdoor sessions where weather variability is expected. The breathable construction prevents overheating during active movement whilst maintaining full weather protection.

Integration and compatibility

This unisex smock in size XS suits smaller body frames. The extended cut provides additional lower body coverage compared to standard jackets. Works as either a standalone shell or layered over base and mid-layers depending on conditions.

Maintenance and lifecycle

The hidrostretch material requires periodic DWR treatment to maintain water beading performance. Clean with technical fabric wash to preserve breathability and waterproofing properties.
