Tactical PEQ DBAL-A2 Red Laser and White Light – Dual-function targeting module

The DBAL-A2 is a tactical laser module that combines a red laser designator with a white light illuminator in a single unit. This nylon polymer device operates on a CR123A battery and provides both rapid target acquisition via laser and 160 lumen illumination for low-light environments.

Construction and materials

Built from nylon polymer, the module features a red laser operating at 1-5mW output and a white CREE XPE-R2 LED producing 160 lumens. The unit is splash-proof rated and includes a pressure switch with cable for remote activation. Battery life extends to approximately 4 hours of continuous operation.

Application and use

Designed for airsoft applications, particularly in CQB and night game scenarios. The red laser enables quick target acquisition in confined spaces, whilst the white light function serves for corner checking and navigation in darkness. The included pressure switch allows operation without compromising weapon grip.

Integration and compatibility

The module mounts to standard 20mm Picatinny and Weaver rail systems. Power comes from a single CR123A battery (sold separately). The pressure switch cable provides flexible placement options for optimal ergonomics during operation.

Maintenance and lifecycle

The splash-proof construction requires minimal maintenance beyond battery replacement. Clean external surfaces with a damp cloth as needed. Check battery compartment seals periodically to maintain water resistance.
