Vector Optics Frenzy S – Ultra-lightweight pistol red dot sight

The Frenzy S is a compact red dot sight designed for rapid target acquisition on pistols and compact platforms. Weighing just 19 grams, this aluminum-bodied optic features a 17x24mm window with multi-reticle options and motion-activated power management.

Construction and materials

Built from aluminum with a black finish, the sight measures 4.1cm in length. The housing meets IPX6 waterproof standards while maintaining minimal weight. Window dimensions of 17x24mm provide adequate field of view for close-range engagements. The unit features fixed parallax for consistent point of impact.

Application and use

This red dot sight suits pistol applications requiring minimal weight addition. The multi-dot reticle system offers flexibility for different shooting scenarios. With 8 brightness levels plus 2 night vision modes, the optic adapts to varying light conditions. Motion sensing automatically powers down after 2 minutes of inactivity.

Integration and compatibility

The Frenzy S mounts via Weaver rail interface, compatible with MOS (Modular Optic System) cutouts and standard Weaver-pattern rails. Power comes from a single CR2032 battery providing up to 20,000 hours runtime at lowest settings. Mount hardware is sold separately.

Maintenance and lifecycle

The sealed IPX6 construction requires minimal maintenance beyond lens cleaning and periodic battery replacement. The motion-activated shutoff extends battery life significantly during normal use patterns.
