Continental 6-36x56 FFP Riflescope – long-range precision optic

The Vector Optics Continental 6-36x56 FFP is a long-range riflescope built for precision rifle shooting and detailed observation. It features a 6-36x magnification range, a 56 mm objective lens, and a 34 mm main tube, delivering a wide field adjustment and high light transmission for use across varying light conditions.

Construction and materials

The housing is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte black finish, nitrogen-purged for fog resistance and rated IP67 waterproof. Total length is 404 mm and weight is 860 grams. The optical system uses Schott HT glass with VePRO coating for approximately 90% light transmission, supporting clear image resolution at high magnification.

Application and use

This scope is intended for advanced sport shooters focused on precision rifle shooting at medium to long range. The VEC-MBR2 reticle with 0.035 MIL center dot and 0.2 MIL hashmarks supports accurate holdovers, while the first focal plane (FFP) design scales the reticle with magnification. Turrets offer zero stop, lock, and a revolution indicator with 1/10 MIL clicks.

Integration and compatibility

The 34 mm tube diameter mounts to standard Picatinny rails, with 34mm Picatinny rings included in the package. Compatibility extends across modern rifle platforms and PCP air rifles. The illuminated reticle operates on a CR2032 battery with 11 brightness settings. Additional accessories include a sunshade, flip-up lens caps, spare turret, plastic wrench, cleaning cloth, and instruction manual.

Maintenance and lifecycle

The scope is sealed and requires no internal servicing. Periodic lens cleaning with the supplied cloth and timely CR2032 battery replacement are recommended to maintain optical clarity and illumination function.
