Z4 Red Dot – compact 1x24 reflex sight for rapid target acquisition

The VictOptics Z4 is a lightweight red dot sight designed for quick aiming with 1x magnification and a 23x34mm objective lens. This aluminum construction sight features four reticle options and operates on a single CR2032 battery, making it suitable for dynamic shooting scenarios.

Construction and materials

Built from aluminum in a black finish, the Z4 measures 8.2cm in length with a compact profile. The sight housing provides shock resistance while maintaining a lightweight design that won't affect weapon balance. The unit includes adjustable front and rear sights for precise zeroing and features a parallax setting of 1 MOA at 80 yards.

Application and use

This sight is specifically suitable for airsoft applications where rapid target acquisition is essential. The four selectable red dot reticle patterns accommodate different lighting conditions and target scenarios. With five brightness settings and unlimited eye relief, operators can maintain situational awareness while engaging targets at various distances.

Integration and compatibility

The Z4 mounts via a quick-release Picatinny clamp system, ensuring compatibility with standard 22mm rails. The mount allows tool-free installation and removal while maintaining zero retention. Note that this model features no rail on top for additional accessories.

Maintenance and lifecycle

Battery replacement requires a single CR2032 cell, accessible through the battery compartment. The sight is weather-resistant against rain and fog, requiring only periodic lens cleaning and battery checks for optimal performance.
