Western Airguns Sidewinder Compact – Semi/full-auto PCP air rifle

The Sidewinder Compact is a versatile PCP air rifle featuring both semi-automatic and full-automatic firing modes, switchable via a simple selector. This 3.5kg rifle combines a polymer/metal construction with a regulated action, offering consistent performance across three caliber options: 5.5mm (98 Joule), 6.35mm (119 Joule), and 7.62mm (169 Joule).

Construction and materials

Built with a polymer/metal hybrid construction, the rifle measures 67.3cm in overall length with a 43.2cm American TJ hammer-forged barrel. The barrel terminates in 1/2 UNF thread for suppressor mounting. The AR-style pistol grip provides ergonomic handling, while the adjustable trigger allows customization to user preference. Weight is kept manageable at 3.5kg despite the robust build quality.
