Aster II Blue Expert – Electronic trigger unit for V3 gearboxes

The Aster II Blue Expert is a drop-in electronic trigger unit (ETU) designed for V3 gearboxes, compatible with both AEG and HPA systems. This mosfet replaces mechanical trigger contacts with an electronic system featuring Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for smartphone control.

Construction and materials

The unit features a black PCB with blue accents and is configured for front-wired installations. The integrated Bluetooth 5.2 module enables wireless configuration, while the cam sensor provides cycle detection. A multifunctional port allows connection of external sensors for enhanced functionality.

Application and use

This ETU is designed for airsoft replicas requiring precise trigger control and programmable firing modes. Through the GCS smartphone app, operators can adjust pre-cocking levels, active brake strength, burst modes, and battery protection parameters. The system supports both standard AEG motors and brushless variants, as well as dual solenoid HPA configurations.

Integration and compatibility

The Aster II Blue Expert fits all V3 gearboxes, including AK variants and G36 models. Installation requires no soldering – the drop-in design directly replaces existing trigger assemblies. The unit operates with standard NiMH, LiPo, and Li-Ion batteries commonly used in airsoft applications.
