Hi-Capa 5.1 HERACLES – gas blowback pistol on the Hi-Capa platform

The Hi-Capa 5.1 HERACLES by Lancer Tactical is a gas blowback sidearm built on the Hi-Capa platform. It uses a gas power source and delivers a maximum output of 1.0 joule at approximately 310 FPS. The polymer construction and competition-oriented layout make it suitable as a customisable secondary.

Construction and materials

The frame is made from polymer, keeping the overall weight at 1.0 kg with a total length of 24 cm. The finish is black, and the lower frame integrates a Picatinny rail for mounting accessories. The compact dimensions support fast handling in confined spaces.

Application and use

This pistol is suited to indoor and close-range use, functioning as a backup or sidearm in CQB scenarios. The semi-automatic firing mode and blowback action provide realistic recoil for training and skirmish use. An integrated safety and included magazine allow immediate deployment.

Integration and compatibility

The HERACLES is compatible with Tokyo Marui-specification Hi-Capa parts, giving access to a broad upgrade range. The Picatinny rail accepts lights or lasers, and a top rail can be fitted using an adapter. The magazine holds 28 BBs, and the hop-up is adjustable for trajectory tuning.

Maintenance and lifecycle

As a gas blowback system, the pistol requires regular cleaning and light lubrication of the seals and valve, particularly after intensive sessions or in fluctuating temperatures. Gas refilling and routine servicing extend the operational lifespan.
