Advanced 552 red/green Dot Sight – Quick target acquisition optic with dual color reticle

The Advanced 552 from RAM Tactical is a 1x magnification red dot sight designed for rapid target acquisition. This optic features switchable red/green dot reticles with adjustable brightness settings, weighs 275 grams, and mounts via Picatinny rail system.

Construction and materials

Built with an aluminum housing combined with reinforced polymer components, this sight measures 13cm in length. The unit operates on two AAA batteries accessible through a lever-locked compartment. The black finish provides a non-reflective surface suitable for tactical applications.

Application and use

This red dot sight serves both airsoft and air rifle platforms. The 1x magnification allows both-eyes-open shooting for enhanced situational awareness. The dual-color reticle system enables optimal contrast in varying light conditions – green performs better in bright daylight while red excels in low-light scenarios.

Integration and compatibility

The sight attaches to standard Picatinny and Weaver rail systems using the included 21mm screw mount. Windage and elevation adjustments operate with 1 MOA clicks, translating to approximately 3mm point-of-impact shift at 100 meters. The sight maintains a 27-meter field of view at 100 meters distance.

Maintenance and lifecycle

Battery replacement requires no tools thanks to the lever-lock design. The aluminum construction ensures durability under regular use conditions typical for airsoft and air rifle applications.
