The RAM Tactical 552 Advanced is a red/green dot sight designed for fast target acquisition on airsoft replicas and air rifles. This 1x magnification optic features switchable red/green dot reticles with adjustable brightness settings and weighs 275g.

Construction and materials

Built with an aluminum housing combined with reinforced polymer components, the sight measures 13cm in length. The unit operates on two AAA batteries housed in a lever-lock compartment for tool-free battery changes. The black finish provides a non-reflective surface suitable for tactical applications.

Application and use

This sight is designed for both airsoft and air rifle platforms requiring rapid target engagement. The dual-colour dot system allows operators to select optimal reticle visibility – green performs better in bright daylight while red excels in low-light conditions. The 1x magnification enables both-eyes-open shooting for enhanced situational awareness.

Integration and compatibility

The sight mounts via included 21mm screw clamps compatible with both Picatinny and Weaver rail systems. The unit features a Picatinny top rail for additional accessories. Windage and elevation adjustments operate in 1 MOA increments, translating to approximately 3mm point-of-impact shifts at 100 metres.

Maintenance and lifecycle

Battery replacement requires two standard AAA cells accessible through the quick-release battery compartment. Regular cleaning of the lens surfaces maintains optical clarity. The aluminum construction provides durability for extended field use.
