Target Rat | RAM Tactical – reactive shooting target with magnetic reset system

This shooting target features five metal rat figures that fall when hit, with a central target that magnetically resets all knocked-down rats. The unit measures 49cm wide, 19cm high, and 21cm deep, constructed from metal with 1mm thick iron rat figures.

Construction and materials

The black frame houses five knockdown targets in rat form. The outer four rats drop upon impact, while the centre rat activates the magnetic reset mechanism when hit. Each iron figure is 1mm thick, providing realistic resistance for airgun pellets. The overall dimensions make it substantial enough for stable placement during shooting sessions.

Application and use

Designed for air rifle shooting up to 24 joules, with a minimum recommended distance of 15 metres. For optimal performance and to prevent deformation of the thin metal figures, use from 25 metres or more. Only lead pellets should be used – steel projectiles are not suitable. The magnetic reset system eliminates the need to walk downrange between shooting sequences.

Integration and compatibility

Compatible with air rifles and air pistols up to 24 joules. For lower-powered airguns, the magnetic system may require adjustment with tape or plaster to ensure smooth reset operation. Always use lead pellets only to prevent damage to the target figures and reduce ricochet risk.
