Bore Boa .22 – Flexible bore cleaning cord for firearms maintenance

The Bore Boa .22 is a pull-through cleaning cord designed for .22 calibre (5.5mm) firearm barrels. This bore mop features a woven nylon construction with a weighted brass tip that allows quick bore cleaning without traditional cleaning rods.

Construction and materials

The cleaning cord consists of braided nylon fibres in a black and white pattern. The brass weight at one end serves as both a pull-through guide and handle attachment point. The flexible design ensures full contact with bore surfaces throughout the entire barrel length, effectively capturing fouling and residue.

Application and use

This bore mop is designed for firearms chambered in .22 calibre. Simply drop the weighted end through the breech and pull the cord through from the muzzle end. The cord can be used dry or with cleaning solvents. One or two passes typically remove powder fouling and lead deposits from rifling grooves.
