Bipod FMA 4.4"–9.2" Pan/Tilt Picatinny by Vector Optics – adjustable tactical rifle support

The Vector Optics FMA bipod is a tactical rifle and air rifle support with an adjustable leg range of 4.4"–9.2" and an integrated pan/tilt head. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum with a total weight of 389 g, it provides a stable shooting platform with a load capacity up to 20 kg.

Construction and materials

The frame is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black finish. The telescopic legs feature 6 sections, while the angle adjustment uses a 304 stainless steel gear with 24 teeth, allowing positioning in 15° increments. Folded length is 17 cm and the maximum deployed height reaches 21 cm. Replaceable feet with 1/4" thread are included, along with spikes for soft terrain.

Application and use

Intended for sport and precision shooters requiring a versatile rifle rest for prone or seated firing positions. The 360° rotating head with independent pan and tilt locks supports fast one-handed correction during shooting. Suitable for both lightweight air rifles and heavier firearms equipped with optics or accessories.

Integration and compatibility

Mounting is handled via a Picatinny quick-release coupling, with an included adapter plate for M-LOK and Weaver compatibility. The 20 kg load rating makes it compatible with PCP air rifles as well as standard tactical platforms using Picatinny, Weaver, or M-LOK rails.

Maintenance and lifecycle

The bipod is serviceable, with replaceable feet and spikes via 1/4" thread. Periodic cleaning of the telescopic legs and the pan/tilt gear mechanism is recommended to maintain smooth adjustment and locking performance.
