The Vector Optics Matiz 3-9x40 is a variable magnification rifle scope designed for multiple shooting platforms. This scope features 3-9x magnification range with a 40mm objective lens and aluminum construction weighing 390 grams. The 1 inch (25.4mm) tube diameter fits standard mounts.

Construction and materials

Built from 6061 T6 aluminum, the scope measures 31cm in length. The multi-coated optics deliver a field of view from 6.3 to 2.2°. The housing is nitrogen-filled to prevent fogging and tested for shock resistance up to 600 grams. A mil-dot reticle provides precise aiming points.

Application and use

This scope suits air rifles, airsoft replicas, and firearms. The variable magnification accommodates both close and medium-range shooting. The 4 inch eye relief ensures comfortable viewing, while 1/10 MIL turret adjustments enable fine-tuning without tools.

Integration and compatibility

The scope includes Weaver mounting rings for 22mm Weaver rails. Parallax is fixed at 100 metres with second focal plane (SFP) construction. Package includes lens covers and dust cloth. Note: 11mm dovetail rails require separate mounting rings.

Maintenance and lifecycle
