Bushbuck .45 – Big bore PCP rifle with bolt action

The Bushbuck .45 is a big bore PCP rifle featuring 11.4mm/.45 caliber and 813 joule maximum power output. This bolt-action rifle combines a walnut stock with a 762mm barrel for long-range precision shooting.

Construction and materials

Built with a wood/metal construction, the rifle weighs 4.65kg and measures 125.7cm in total length. The walnut stock features an adjustable cheek rest for proper alignment. The long 762mm barrel provides stability for heavy .45 projectiles. A Picatinny top rail allows for optics mounting.

Application and use

Designed for experienced shooters in recreational long-range target shooting. The bolt action loading system requires manual cycling between shots. This big bore rifle delivers 820 FPS velocity and is suitable for heavy target impact. The single action trigger provides consistent pull weight for precision work.

Integration and compatibility

The rifle operates on pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) power with a 285cc air cylinder supporting up to 4200 PSI fill pressure. Compatible with 11.4mm/.45 caliber lead projectiles only. Features left- and right-handed operation and includes a refill kit. The integrated safety provides secure handling.

Maintenance and lifecycle

Requires disciplined pressure management – shoot only at full power above 3000 PSI to prevent projectile jamming. Use exclusively soft lead projectiles. Regular cylinder pressure checks and seal maintenance ensure consistent performance throughout the rifle's service life.
