American Air Arms EVOL .30 – High-power PCP air rifle for precision shooting

The American Air Arms EVOL is a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle in 7.62mm/.30 caliber, delivering up to 108 joules of energy. This big bore rifle features a 300cc titanium cylinder, 457mm barrel, and 9-round rotary magazine for consistent long-range performance.

Construction and materials

The rifle combines a titanium air cylinder with a 7075-aluminum chassis, weighing 3.27kg total. The 99cm overall length includes an 18-inch (457mm) barrel with cut rifling technology. The polymer stock is adjustable, while the black finish provides durability. A Picatinny/Weaver rail system allows for optics mounting.

Application and use

Designed for advanced shooters pursuing long-range precision and recreational target shooting. The side lever action and single-shot firing mode support deliberate, accurate shooting. The externally adjustable regulator and single-action trigger system enable fine-tuning for consistent shot strings at 250 bar maximum fill pressure.

Integration and compatibility

This right-handed configuration features ambidextrous safety controls and adjustable trigger pull weight (factory-set at 8-10 ounces). The PCP system provides approximately 35-40 shots per fill at maximum power. Standard Picatinny mounting accepts most optics and accessories.

Maintenance and lifecycle

Regular maintenance includes monitoring cylinder pressure and periodic o-ring inspection. The titanium cylinder construction ensures long-term durability against pressure cycling. The adjustable regulator may require occasional servicing to maintain consistent velocity output.
