Vector Optics Matiz 3-9x50 SFP Scope – variable magnification rifle scope with BDC reticle

The Vector Optics Matiz 3-9x50 SFP is a variable magnification scope built for short- to mid-range shooting on air rifles, airsoft replicas and firearms. It features a 3-9x magnification range, a 50 mm objective lens and a glass-etched BDC reticle, mounted in a second focal plane configuration on a tube housing made of aluminum.

Construction and materials

The scope body is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum with a black anodised finish. Overall length measures 311 mm and total weight is 470 g. The housing is nitrogen-purged to prevent internal fogging and sealed against moisture ingress. Supplied accessories include lens caps and a dust cloth for protection during transport and storage.

Application and use

This scope is suitable for air rifle, airsoft and firearms use, covering disciplines from target shooting at short range to precision work at mid-range distances. The BDC reticle assists with bullet drop compensation across varying engagement distances, while the illuminated reticle supports use in low-light conditions.

Integration and compatibility

The scope is supplied with a Weaver mount compatible with a 22 mm Weaver top rail, allowing direct installation on standard airsoft replicas, PCP air rifles and firearms equipped with this rail standard. The objective lens diameter is 50 mm. Reticle illumination requires a CR2032 battery, which is not included in the package.

Maintenance and lifecycle

External lenses should be cleaned with the supplied dust cloth or a dedicated optics cleaner to preserve coatings. The CR2032 battery powering the reticle illumination is user-replaceable, and the supplied lens caps help extend service life by protecting the optics when not in use.
