This RAM Tactical 4x40 AO rifle scope features 4x magnification with a 40mm objective lens and adjustable parallax. The Mil-dot reticle provides holdover reference points for range estimation and windage correction.

Construction and materials

The scope body is finished in black and built to be both shockproof and fogproof. Internal components withstand recoil from spring-piston air rifles, while nitrogen purging prevents lens fogging during temperature changes. The 40mm objective lens diameter balances light transmission with mounting height requirements.

Application and use

This optic is designed for both air rifle and airsoft applications. The 4x fixed magnification suits target shooting at moderate ranges, while the Mil-dot reticle enables holdover shooting without dialling corrections. The adjustable objective (AO) allows parallax correction from close-range to infinity.

Integration and compatibility

The scope requires separate mounting rings (not included). Compatible mount options include 11mm dovetail for traditional air rifles and 22mm Picatinny for tactical platforms. Ring height selection depends on stock comb height and shooter preference. The parallax adjustment ring is positioned on the objective bell for easy access while shooting.
